Before equipment leaves the site

Remove or release devices from Intune, Autopilot, Google Admin, Apple Business Manager, Jamf or other management platforms where applicable. Remove activation locks, firmware passwords and organisation-specific enrolment controls where possible. Confirm whether the school, college, university or trust needs a pre-collection list, collection manifest or post-processing report. Identify equipment that must remain onsite until data destruction has been completed or witnessed. Separate retained accessories, SIM cards, memory cards or storage media that are not intended to leave the organisation.

Yes. Holiday periods are often the easiest time to complete larger ICT refresh collections with less disruption, subject to route availability and project scope.

Can you cover multiple schools in one trust?

Yes. Multi-site projects can be planned as one programme with consistent collection references, reporting rules and evidence requirements across each location.

What happens if devices are still enrolled in MDM?

Managed or activation-locked devices can prevent reuse and may create additional administration. We recommend removing management controls before collection wherever practical.

Can staff witness data destruction?

Yes, where onsite data destruction has been arranged. The method and evidence should be agreed in advance so the visit is scoped correctly.

Do you provide asset and destruction reports?

Yes. Reporting can range from standard collection and destruction documentation to more detailed device-level records where the project requires it.

Can usable equipment generate value?

Potentially. Reusable modern equipment may have value, but any valuation depends on model, specification, condition, management status, market demand and the agreed project costs.
