Business hardware recycling & collection

Clear the space. Protect the data. Keep value in circulation.

Planned collections for redundant business IT across London, Kent and the South East—with secure handling, documented processing and the right outcome for each asset.

Your IT equipment
01

Collect Securely

Plan the collection around your equipment, location, access requirements and agreed documentation.

Identify & Protect

Record data-bearing assets to the agreed scope and apply the appropriate data-security process.

Reuse & Recover

Assess suitable equipment for refurbishment, component recovery or residual value after data protection.

Recycle Responsibly

Route non-reusable equipment into responsible downstream material recovery.

Choose the practical route

A collection that fits the project.

Quantity matters, but so do location, access, equipment type, reusable value and the level of reporting required.

ROUTE 01

Planned Business Collection

Suitable for routine office clear-outs, refresh projects and mixed IT equipment. Many qualifying collections can be arranged without a separate collection charge.

Discuss your collection →
ROUTE 02

Dedicated Project

For larger, multi-site, time-sensitive or higher-assurance requirements needing a dedicated access plan, additional auditing or tailored reporting.

Plan a dedicated project →
ROUTE 03

Small Quantity Route

For smaller numbers of laptops, phones, tablets or drives, drop-off, post-in or route-based collection may be more practical.

Equipment we handle

From workplace devices to infrastructure.

Choose a group to see common examples. Mixed collections are welcome, and unusual or specialist equipment can be assessed before collection.

GROUP 01 · USER DEVICES

Computers & mobile devices

Common data-bearing equipment from office refreshes, staff returns and end-of-life replacement programmes.

Laptops and notebooksDesktop computersApple Macs and workstationsMobile phonesTablets and ChromebooksThin clients and mini PCs
Please identify known MDM, Autopilot, Apple, Google, Knox, BIOS or activation restrictions before collection wherever possible.
GROUP 02 · INFRASTRUCTURE

Servers & infrastructure

Business and enterprise equipment from server rooms, communications spaces and infrastructure refreshes.

Rack and tower serversStorage arrays and NAS unitsNetwork switches and routersFirewalls and communications hardwareServer racks and railsUPS equipment by prior assessment
Servers and storage may contain multiple data-bearing drives. Please provide approximate configurations where known.
GROUP 03 · WORKPLACE

Workplace equipment

Supporting workplace equipment commonly included alongside computers and devices. Some printers and other devices can also hold data; include these in the agreed processing scope.

Monitors and displaysDocks and port replicatorsPrinters and scannersKeyboards and miceCables, chargers and adaptersAudio-visual equipment
Large quantities, unusually heavy items and specialist access requirements should be identified when arranging the collection.
GROUP 04 · SPECIALIST ASSETS

Specialist & mixed equipment

Unusual electrical, technical or mixed equipment can be reviewed before it is added to the collection scope.

Send photographs, model information and approximate quantities so we can confirm whether specialist equipment can be accepted.

A controlled journey

From enquiry to final reporting.

The collection is only the beginning. Each project follows an agreed path through identification, data processing and the final equipment outcome.

01

Assess

Confirm equipment, quantity, location, access and reporting needs.

02

Plan

Agree the collection route, contacts, timing and handover records.

03

Identify

Record and separate data-bearing assets to the agreed scope.

04

Process

Complete the selected data-security and equipment assessment route.

05

Report & Route

Provide agreed records, then reuse, recover or recycle.

The right final outcome

Recycling is one route—not the first assumption.

After data security is addressed, condition, specification, repairability, demand and project requirements help determine what happens next.

OUTCOME 01 · REUSE

Keep useful equipment working.

Suitable assets may be tested, refurbished, repaired, upgraded or prepared for resale after the agreed data-security process is complete.

Extends the productive life of viable equipmentMay preserve residual value for the projectAvoids destroying useful hardware unnecessarily
Reuse is selected only where it is technically, securely and commercially practical.
OUTCOME 02 · COMPONENT RECOVERY

Recover value from viable parts.

Where a complete device is unsuitable for reuse, serviceable components may still support repairs, refurbishment or responsible parts recovery.

Separates usable components from failed assembliesSupports repair and refurbishment activityReduces unnecessary material processing
Component recovery follows data-security checks and is not suitable for every device or project.
OUTCOME 03 · MATERIAL RECYCLING

Process genuine end-of-life equipment.

Equipment that is no longer suitable for reuse or component recovery is routed into responsible downstream recycling and material recovery.

Separates equipment into appropriate waste streamsUses suitable downstream processing routesSupports the required waste documentation
The final route depends on equipment condition, composition and the agreed project requirements.

Clear answers

Before arranging a collection.

The practical questions businesses ask most often.

Is business IT collection free? +

Many qualifying collections can be completed without a separate collection charge. This depends on location, quantity, equipment type, reusable value, access and the processing or reporting requested. We confirm the route before booking.

Do you collect from households? +

No. This is a business and organisational collection service. Small business quantities may be suitable for drop-off, post-in or an existing collection route.

What happens to data-bearing equipment? +

Data-bearing assets are identified and processed using the method and evidence level agreed for the project. Secure erasure, degaussing and physical destruction options are explained on the Data Destruction page.

Can you provide serial-number and asset reports? +

Yes. Asset identification, serial-number reporting, certificates and deeper device-level evidence can be agreed according to the scope and assurance level required.

What if the equipment has little or no reuse value? +

End-of-life equipment can still be accepted subject to quantity, location and logistics. A collection or processing charge may apply where the project costs cannot be offset, and this is confirmed before collection.

What should we prepare before collection? +

Provide an approximate equipment list, site contact, collection address and access information. Remove MDM, automated enrolment and activation restrictions where possible, and identify any special data-destruction or reporting requirement.

Tell us what equipment you need collected.

Send the approximate quantity, equipment type, location and any data-destruction or reporting requirement. We will confirm the most practical collection route.

Reuse where practical. Recycling where necessary. Evidence where required.

Hardware recycling sits inside a wider waste and reuse framework. We distinguish regulatory registrations and exemptions from the legal framework that applies to WEEE.

  • ISO 9001 certified quality management — Current
  • Environment Agency waste carrier registration — Registered until 13 October 2028
  • T11 WEEE repair and refurbishment exemption — Registered until 28 April 2029
  • Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2013, as amended — Legal framework followed where applicable — not a certification.

T11 is a registered waste exemption with defined conditions; it is not presented as a general environmental accreditation.
