The right scope depends on the equipment, data risk, reporting requirement and reuse objective.

What is included in an ITAD service? +

An agreed ITAD project can include secure collection, asset identification, data erasure or destruction, testing and grading, reuse or resale assessment, responsible recycling and completion reporting.

Can you confirm the value of equipment before collection? +

A preliminary indication may be possible with sufficiently detailed equipment information, but a reliable figure normally depends on specification, condition, functionality, management status and market demand. Final recovery is confirmed after the agreed assessment.

Do all assets have to be physically destroyed? +

No. Where policy and device condition allow, verified erasure can protect the data while preserving equipment for reuse. Physical destruction is used where it is required by risk, contract, technology or failed processing.

What happens to devices that cannot be reused? +

They may be assessed for component recovery before the remaining equipment or processed material is routed for responsible recycling.

Can you provide serial-number reporting? +

Yes. Asset and serial-number records can be included where agreed, alongside processing outcomes, exceptions, certificates and tailored completion reporting.

Where do you collect from? +

Bioteknik supports organisations across London, Kent and the wider South East, including Reading and the Thames Valley, Essex and Cambridge. Larger or higher-value projects further afield can be considered where the collection is practical.
