Before laptops leave your organisation

Remove activation locks, organisation accounts, BIOS passwords and firmware controls where practical before collection. Provide an existing asset list with make, model, serial number and asset tag where available if you want it reconciled against the collection. Keep matching chargers, docks and power adapters with reusable laptops where practical. Identify swollen batteries, impact-damaged devices or laptops requiring special handling before the collection date.

How is data removed from SSD-based laptops?

Will every laptop be physically destroyed?
